Either/Or Films’ next narrative feature is Someplace Like America. As was the case with The Sensation of Sight, company partners Aaron J. Wiederspahn (writer/director) and Buzz McLaughlin (executive producer) will be heading the project. Scheduled to be shot in the spring of 2010, Someplace Like America is a contemporary tale set in New Hampshire’s North Country after the closing of its paper mills. The inspiration for the film is the classic non-fiction book Journey to Nowhere: The Saga of the New Underclass, written by three-time Pulitzer Prize-winners, journalist Dale Maharidge and photojournalist Michael Williamson. » Read more: SOMEPLACE LIKE AMERICA
