Hello filmmaking friends,
There's always more going wrong with our planet. The oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico is just one of many examples: Global warming, rising sea levels, for-profit fertilization, the illegal dumping of toxic waste in Ivory Coast, large corporations are taking the water away from farmers in Montana and India or the illegal dumping of toxic waste in Ivory Coast.
The media report only the tip of the iceberg. And in many countries repressive media laws suppress legitimate criticism and comment. And the rich corporations use the law to cover up the truth about their activities.
I had a long conversation with my friend Armin and we decided to create an Ecology and HumanRightsChannel on Eumagine as a platform for all filmmakers who have to tell a story. The goal is showing films about all these things going wrong, to show the effects which is done to people who have no voice in the media. Because it is our planet, not the planet of goverments and companies and we'll be jugded by our children.
Right now it's just an idea and we only have two movies, but like each journey is starting with its first step, so we do. The door is open… Just click here to see the first movies
